L\u2019innalzamento del livello del mare, gli incendi boschivi, la scarsit\u00e0 d\u2019acqua, gli eventi meteorologici estremi e la perdita di biodiversit\u00e0 sono solo alcune tra le conseguenze negative del cambiamento climatico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Per questo, dato che le nostre attivit\u00e0 commerciali comportano emissioni di carbonio sia a livello aziendale che lungo la catena del valore, ci impegniamo ad assumerci le nostre responsabilit\u00e0 dando la massima priorit\u00e0 a una riduzione significativa e tempestiva della nostra impronta di Vengono compensate solo le emissioni residue inferiori al 10%.<br><br>&nbsp;<br><br>Il nostro obiettivo fondamentale per il 2025<sup>2<\/sup> \u00e8 di passare al 100% di elettricit\u00e0 verde e entro il 2025, combinando il pi\u00f9<br \/>possibile la riduzione delle emissioni con l&#8217;acquisto di crediti di carbonio per compensare le emissioni rimanenti. Pur continuando a perseguire gli<br \/>obiettivi di riduzione dei consumi energetici e di elettricit\u00e0 verde fissati per il 2025, abbiamo deciso di astenerci dalla compensazione. L&#8217;opinione pubblica<br \/>e gli standard internazionali sono cauti riguardo ai crediti di carbonio<br \/>e attribuiscono maggiore importanza alla riduzione delle emissioni alla fonte rispetto alla compensazione. In ogni caso la nostra missione non cambia:<br \/>ci impegniamo a compiere sforzi concreti per ridurre le emissioni<br \/>di emissioni di gas serra.<\/p>\n<p><sup>3<\/sup> Risparmio sulle nostre In tal senso, ci rendiamo conto che per ridurre le emissioni lungo la catena del valore \u00e8 necessario collaborare con i nostri partner minerari.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2024, le nostre emissioni di Scope 3 sono aumentate del 3%, soprattutto a causa dell&#8217;aumento dell&#8217;oro acquistato. Siamo consapevoli che la volatilit\u00e0 e la ciclicit\u00e0 della domanda, in particolare dell&#8217;oro, continueranno a influire, ma confidiamo di poter raggiungere i nostri obiettivi grazie alle misure adottate. Rispetto al 2020, infatti, le nostre emissioni di Scope 3 si sono ridotte del 23%.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b514d6d Per questo, nel 2024, abbiamo apportato diversi ammodernamenti presso il sito di Mendrisio, tra cui l&#8217;installazione di motori di ventilazione ad alta efficienza, pompe di raffreddamento pi\u00f9 efficienti e altre migliorie, che ci consentiranno di risparmiare circa 650 MWh all&#8217;anno.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nella nostra sede di Hong Kong, abbiamo sostituito le apparecchiature pi\u00f9 vecchie con nuove macchine ad alta efficienza.
