combinant autant que possible la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions et l&rsquo;achat de cr\u00e9dits carbone pour compenser les \u00e9missions r\u00e9siduelles. Tout en continuant \u00e0 poursuivre les objectifs de r\u00e9duction de la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et d&rsquo;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 verte fix\u00e9s pour 2025, nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de renoncer \u00e0 la compensation. L&rsquo;opinion publique et les normes internationales restent prudentes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9gard des cr\u00e9dits carbone et accordent plus de valeur \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions \u00e0 la source qu&rsquo;\u00e0 leur compensation. Notre mission reste inchang\u00e9e : nous nous effor\u00e7ons de fournir des efforts r\u00e9els pour r\u00e9duire nos \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre.<\/p>\n<p><sup>3<\/sup> Par rapport Nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9limin\u00e9 les \u00e9missions de GES provenant de l\u2019achat d\u2019\u00e9nergie (Scope 2) depuis 2022, puisque nous achetons de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 produite \u00e0 partir de sources 100 % renouvelables et que nous produisons notre propre \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce au syst\u00e8me photovolta\u00efque install\u00e9 sur tous nos b\u00e2timents.<\/li>\n<li>Une r\u00e9duction significative de 15 % (Scope 1 et 2) sur notre site de production \u00e0 <strong>Hong Kong<\/strong>, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des mesures visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des activit\u00e9s de production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nos sites de Pforzheim, en Allemagne, et de Cavenago di Brianza, en Italie, ont toujours maintenu des \u00e9missions de GES minimales. Dans tous les cas, gr\u00e2ce aux efforts principalement li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019achat d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 renouvelable<sup>4<\/sup>, nous sommes parvenus \u00e0 r\u00e9duire nos \u00e9missions \u00e0 z\u00e9ro sur ces sites \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dans l\u2019ensemble, nous avons obtenu des r\u00e9sultats tr\u00e8s positifs en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions des Scopes 1 et 2.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, le principal d\u00e9fi consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions du Scope 3. En 2024, ces \u00e9missions repr\u00e9sentaient 99.97 % de nos \u00e9missions totales, dont plus de 99 % provenaient de l\u2019achat de m\u00e9taux pr\u00e9cieux. Nous reconnaissons que pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions tout au long de la cha\u00eene de valeur, nous devons collaborer avec nos partenaires miniers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En 2024, nos \u00e9missions du Scope 3 ont augment\u00e9 de 3 %. Cette hausse est principalement due \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation des achats d\u2019or. Nous reconnaissons que les demandes volatiles et cycliques du march\u00e9, en particulier pour l\u2019or, continueront \u00e0 \u00eatre un d\u00e9fi. Toutefois, nous sommes convaincus que les actions que nous avons planifi\u00e9es nous permettront d\u2019atteindre les objectifs que nous nous sommes fix\u00e9s. En 2024, nous avons poursuivi cet effort en mettant en \u0153uvre plusieurs am\u00e9liorations sur notre site de Mendrisio, notamment l\u2019installation de moteurs de ventilation \u00e0 haut rendement, de pompes de refroidissement plus efficientes et d\u2019autres am\u00e9liorations. Celles-ci devraient permettre d\u2019\u00e9conomiser environ 650 MWh par an. Sur notre site de Hong Kong, nous avons remplac\u00e9 les anciens \u00e9quipements par de nouveaux \u00e9quipements plus efficients. Pour ce faire, nous avons install\u00e9 60 nouveaux compteurs d\u2019\u00e9nergie dans nos services de production \u00e0 Mendrisio, \u00e9quip\u00e9s de moniteurs d\u00e9di\u00e9s \u00e0 chaque service. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cette surveillance \u00e9troite, tous les employ\u00e9s peuvent \u00ab\u2009visualiser\u2009\u00bb la consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie en temps r\u00e9el. Des compteurs seront \u00e9galement install\u00e9s sur le site de Hong Kong dans les prochains mois. Toutefois, l\u2019utilisation du propane g\u00e9n\u00e8re des \u00e9missions directes de CO<sub>2<\/sub>. Nous sommes en train d\u2019\u00e9liminer les \u00e9missions de CO<sub>2<\/sub> li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019incin\u00e9ration du propane en le rempla\u00e7ant par de l\u2019azote. Le fait d\u2019\u00e9viter l\u2019incin\u00e9ration du propane \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une flamme nue aura \u00e9galement des effets secondaires positifs en termes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des processus de production. En 2023, \u00e0 Mendrisio, nous avons constat\u00e9 une diminution de l\u2019utilisation du propane de 32 %. En 2024, malgr\u00e9 la substitution progressive du propane, son utilisation a augment\u00e9 de 24 % en raison d\u2019une augmentation des volumes de production de barres.
